Expanding on my idea for the film script, I decided to read ‘Writing The Short Film’ by Pat Cooper and Ken Dancyger (3rd Edtion). I looked at one of their exercises under the chapter of ‘Writing An Original Short Screenplay’ (pg 65) and explored exercise 12 and 13 of using visual images to build character and an optional start up point for my script.

LINDUM
Since our lecture yesterday about the Relay project, I have been thinking about ideas on what I could possibly write about which relates to the title of ‘Lindum’. As this word is a roman name for ‘Lincoln’ I have been thinking about things that relate to the city. This is when I came up with the idea about a homeless man who becomes rich by finding something historical and highly valuable in Lincoln Cathedral. I think this would work quite nicely is very relevant to the title of the film. I also feel it would be easy when it comes to the production due to the fact we are in Lincoln.
